The Mill House is situated in the quiet, picturesque, rural hamlet of Kennythorpe, you will be perfectly placed to explore the Roman city of York, the North York Moors and the coast. Castle Howard, Kirkham Riexaulix Byland and Whitby Abbey as well as the lost village of Wharram Piercy and market towns of Malton, Pickering and Helmsley. Whitby, Scarborough and Bridlington are all within reach for a beautiful day at the coast, with stunning scenery, great walks and cycle routes plenty of country pubs doing superb food, you will be glad you discovered this area of Yorkshire.
Malton , our nearest town has established itself over the years as Yorkshire's food capital. With regular Saturday farmers markets and weekend Food Festivals , many new food producers have opened up in town . Groovy Moo icecream co, Roost coffee and roastery . Aldo's fresh pasta, eat in or takeaway . Brass Castle Brewery which opened three years ago in Malton run Beer Festivals with live music . We also have a Cajun Festival . Ryedale Festival is also very popular for the classic music fan .
